About Weir Creek Hot Springs

Tips

  • Wear shoes with good traction; the trail is steep and often muddy.
  • Arrive early to secure parking; the pullout only fits 8-10 cars.
  • Test upper pools before entering; they run very hot near the source.
  • Bring a headlamp if soaking into the evening; the steep trail is difficult in the dark.
  • Pair with a visit to Jerry Johnson Hot Springs, a few miles east on Highway 12.
  • Pack out all trash.
