Wild Rose Hot Springs is a commercial resort near Carey in south-central Idaho, about 30 minutes from Craters of the Moon National Monument. Multiple maintained pools at different temperatures draw from a natural geothermal source on the Snake River Plain. The water runs 98-108F across pools, with a cold plunge available for contrast.

From Carey, head south on Highway 93 about 3 miles. Watch for the Wild Rose Hot Springs sign on the west side and turn onto the access road to the resort entrance. From Sun Valley/Ketchum, take Highway 75 south to Shoshone, then Highway 93 north to Carey (about 60 miles). From Twin Falls, Highway 93 north through Shoshone to Carey (about 70 miles). Well signed from the highway.
Best Time to Visit
Open year-round. Winter soaks are popular for the hot-cold contrast. Weekdays are less crowded. Check seasonal hours before visiting.
